Diwali is one of the biggest festivals of Hindus, celebrated with great enthusiasm and happiness in India. It also celebrates the Victory of Lord Rama, who according to the epic ‘Ramayana’, returned to His hometown Ayodhya after vanquishing Ravana and conquering Lanka. The citizens of Ayodhya decorated the entire city with the earthen lamps and illuminated it like never before. The festival of Diwali is never complete without exchanging gifts, performing traditional prayers and rituals, cooking delicacies and festivity all around.
